We can use this size plate everyday for dessert, toast, small sandwich etc. This is sturdy dish. If your current daily dish set doesn't include "dessert/bread" size plates; Actually these melamine dishes use pretty regularly. It's the right size for a small dessert, breakfast breads, cookies at teatime, etc.

Love these plates don’t buy the cheap one’s. I put them in the dishwasher and never had a problem. I don’t recommend microwaving anything for more the 5 minutes. I do microwave on them though. Again no issues.

I purchased some BH&G melamine plates a few years ago and haven't been able to find them again. Everything else that I've bought online has been thin or too shallow, not the quality of those BH&G plates. Until now. These are a perfect duplicate of the BH&G plates, substantial and not too flat. And the colors are beautiful. I'm very very happy with these!

Love these! For melamine, they are pretty strong, thick and solid. And also, very attractive.
