I have done a comparative analysis for nutritional content and it paired equally and exceeded some of the most highly recommended barn feeds. However, I can buy it cheaper from my farrier. I believe my horse is receiving all the nutritional needs she needs as a supplemental feed to forage intake. I don't see as others have noted the increase shine of the tail and mane. But, her overall body coat has definitely improved in quality and does have a shine. Do recommend highly to horse owners but would check with my local farrier for a better price. $5 is $5 saved. And, the cost to own a horse requires prudence shopping.

I use this and Farriers Formula double strength and there is a huge and noticeable difference in my horse''s hooves and coat. The best supplements out there imo.

Our horses’ vet recommended this and it’s great. They still think they’re getting feed, but are now w back to healthy weight.

Our vet recommended this for our portly welsh pony as a mechanism to ensure she receives the vitamins and minerals she needs without adding to her calorie load. She gobbles it down with no complaint and eagerly would like more! We have also started using this with our mini-donkey for the same reason. The pony gets about 1/4 cup a day and the donkey about 1/8. Pony is 13.2 and donkey is just a touch under 9 hands. Both like it
