The part was an exact replacement for what I had, it didn't come with a new gasket so I had to reuse the old one. The gasket was a foam type material and didn't rip or stick to the old fan so everything went well.

The initial few days were quite noisy, to the point where I considered returning the product. However, after three days, it became significantly quieter. Now, while working, I hardly notice any noise.

We were very happy to have found this product at an excellent price. My husband installed it quickly and said he didn't need a new gasket (Note: this part does not come with a gasket). The shipping was way faster than the estimated shipping time, which was great because we were getting kind of cold without our furnace.
