I love these rings. Great for keeping invasive weeds out and protecting the plant from the lawn mower! They stand up to winter snow drifts and cold temperatures. They arrive folded but laying flat in the sun before using them will smooth out the folds. Easy to use and perfect size. I loved them so much that I bought 2 sets-- so far.

These are nice heavy mats that stay in place.I have trees I recently planted in my chicken yard. The chickens killed my first tree by digging around the base killing the roots. These work great to protect the trees and they are doing well.

Works well to help keep grass and weeds from bases of trees, although grass does grow through the mat.

I absolutely love these rubber mulch tree rings!! You can mow around them & they help retain moisture for the tree. Keep weeds away from trunk.

These have worked great for our little trees. They are still getting plenty of water and allow moisture to seep through. They are good value for the money. Cheapest option that I found that is still very solid and durable. Very easy to install. I like that there is the light brown and black on the other side.

Went to purchase again and now the price is higher. I would have got more. Quality and effectiveness good and willing to purchase lower amount and come back to see it's more money. Sad.

Does a great job over the years keeping young trees hydrated and weeds and grass away from the base. Just put them down and leave them. They expand as the trunks grow and work for years.

Two cherry and one apple tree in the yard were never trimmed or limbed up by the previous owners, so mowing was a pain, even weed whacking was a strain. These rings were tough to trim (a good thing) with a sharp implement, but a serrated kitchen knife worked wonders to saw through them. A close fit at the tree base is required... otherwise... why bother? Heavy, they stay down when the riding mower passes over, but at only 24" they're better suited for 'push' and zero turn mowing duties. Deducted a star because one ring came with a bonus slice through about 1/3 of it and partly torn along that slice. I'd still recommend them.
