I was gifted a Shimano Bantam Curado CU-200, but it had been used and abused. I heard great things about the reel, but it did not cast far, at all. I might have got a max of 20 feet per cast. I was looking for bearings, and these were the best choice. Some people are selling these bearings for around 50 to 60 dollars, and that is too much, in my opinion. The reel now casts much much longer and smoother. As a little side note: I did a complete rebuild of my reel, and when I had it all put back together and ready to cast, it made a horrible shrieking sound. Be sure to add a dab of oil on the inner bearing that goes with the spoon tension knob, that way there will be no shriek.
