These cane calls hands down out preform every other call in the market for hunting purposes. In terms of a realistic tone and versatility there is no equal.These bamboo cane calls produce the most natural sounding mallard calls. Listen to it side by side with wood, plastic, or acrylic and you will notice the difference.A seasoned hunter with experience blowing a single reed call will be able to make the sounds of a mallard hen, gadwall hen, gadwall drake, diver duck,and a bluewing teal. Good sound on the call. Deep and wraspy. The problem is once it gets wet. The sound gets a little tinny. Either from the water or spit.

I have the "mini duck call" by Faulks as well. Since i'm not to great on single reeds yet this cal sounds great and makes a good quack. It's Raspy!

This here is the best. Better than those plastic commander calls!! Been blowing these for 30+ years. Glad to see I can still get them.
