This is hard plastic junk. It cracked right down the center as soon as I tried to place it on a pipe. I didn't put that much pressure on it. Not work the the hassle or the money.

Sometimes the drywallers will make the holes larger than necessary, so these little pipe covers kinda make up for it. The nice thing about these plastic covers is that they separate with slide-pins to lock them back into circle shape. The separation makes it easy to slide around on already-installed drains, then use the slide-pins to lock it back into a circle shape and cover most smallish holes. It really should have more than an inch around to cover bigger holes. Or maybe I just need better drywallers...
