Clips broke upon first use rendering it useless. Poor design with cheap plastic clips to secure it to the hard hat.

When I fist got it I was disappointed to see that it’s made of really thing cheap plastic. It was really frail hence it broke after one day simply by catching wind and bending the clips holding it down and it flying off and when it landed one of the sections broke into 2. I deeply regret this purchase over $20 just for a cheap frail piece of plastic, I wish I could get a refund.

If you work outside and don't have a shade extension your missing out these things are great I've been using versions of this for years. Overall fit on the MSA V-Guard hard hat is pretty good, the only thing I saw was the front shade warps up a little which is probably ok.When getting ready to put it together be sure to take off the plastic protective covering on all the pieces. Be careful around the buttons because pulling the plastic off will rip off the buttons.The neck shade could be longer if you look down my neck is exposed. But most the time it is covered pretty good.

I didn’t like the product. It didn’t fit first of all. It was very wide either. It wouldn’t have stopped much sun from hitting my face. It was way over priced. I thought because it was expensive, it would be a great product.
