When I bought this, I was curious how my cats would react, since there's mixed feelings from other customer reviews I read before buying. But, I can say that upon plugging in Feliway, the cats did seem more comfortable throughout the day and tolerable of each other. Mainly, our girl does not necessarily love the male , we adopted them at the same time a week ago. She will hiss at him, never swat. He doesnt hiss back or swat he simply hides. But since I plugged in Feliway yesterday I've noticed that they were more comfortable going out of their safe space rooms, and even exchanging their rooms at times. They could stand within 1 foot of each other without conflict or hissing when they have not before. The male is being more confident and hiding less. They are now both eating full meals and both went pee & poo in their litterboxes finally!! So, yes my cats have had a positive effect during the time that this has been installed in my home. Can I say for certain that this all has to do with Feliway? No, it could be a placebo effect on myself. But, it could be that it did work for me as other people have also claimed, which I'd say it did along with a combination of other efforts to make them more comfortable in their new home. All in all , for 20 bucks I'm pretty happy! As im typing this they are both chilling in the bedroom (in their respective spaces) which is a first!

We just moved, for the first time, and my 9 year old girls didn't handle it very well. The larger one managed to remove all her belly fur, the fur off 2 legs and her tail looked like it got caught in the fan! They YELL at 2:30 in the morning, for no apparent reason and life was beginning to resemble a dumpster fire! The install of the Feliway diffuser harkens back to when they were just young kitties and were not handling living with me at 8 weeks old. The spray did wonders so, I thought, "Why not try the diffuser"?Within 2 days of plugging this in, they are more mellow, the fur is growing back and the general anxiety seems to be dissipating! We all slept until the alarm at 4 am today! First time in 2 months! It may not work for all, and it doesn't work instantly but, I feel like we are on the way to a more peaceful existence again. My girls and I thank you A LOT!!

So first, the overheating problem. I thought maybe people just weren't plugging it in correctly and that's why it would get too hot. I did what another review suggested by buying a surge protector and plugging it into that. It still gets way too hot for my liking. So I only could keep it going for about 8 - 12 hours a day. Basically during daylight hours, when I was home. I thought the level of hot it got would be okay. It seemed to get as hot as my router does for my wifi. Which is hotter than any router I've ever had, but it's never gotten hotter than it does, nor caused any issues. So I thought maybe this would be similar. But after about 3 days of use, you can see the inside plastic starting to warp from how hot it gets. That's not safe at all! So imagine continued use, 24/7 how hot and melted that plastic will get and cause huge issues. So second, I did not have issues with it dripping like others complained about. I made sure it was completely upright and nothing under it plugged in. I made sure to screw the container in tightly and not tip the system in any way. I made sure to handle it always upright to avoid spilling. So thirdly, if the product works best leaving it on 24/7 and it can't be left plugged in due to potential over heating, then there's no point to buy this product until they do something productive about the problem so many are complaining about. I noticed no changes in behaviors of my stray momma cat I'm trying to calm down. She's flipping out to all the changes of being inside my home. I have 2 senior cats I'm keeping separate in the rest of the house, and keeping the momma in my living room. But they can see each other under the door. Not only is that flipping her out but I was told that neighbors are calling the humane officers on strays and that if I didn't want my cat taken away I should have her rabies tags on her when she's out. Welp, I haven't gotten that far into helping her. So she has no tags and can't until she's done feeding the babies. Which are only a month old. So point being, I've only been able to let her out at night. Which she saw a racoon and is now flipping out about being inside all the time, but also about going outside now. I really wanted this to work, but it's basically snake oil. I even tried rubbing it on my hands to let her sniff it since they claim it's like the pheromones momma cats put out. I thought maybe she'd calm and think I'm her momma cat. But it's not helping. She's still sitting meowing a bunch and panting like she's hyperventilating. I'm hoping once she gets spayed that will help calm her some. But clearly this stuff isn't going to help me out.Be warned, they don't allow returns on this. I figure the reason is, they know they are selling a defective product. So unless you have money to waste, just don't buy this. Believe the bad reviews and try something else if you can.

We're a lucky family of two fur children! Both of our cats are sweet--when they're apart. Together, one of them is a big bully and the other doesn't understand personal space, which the other cat very much has. This diffuser has been plugged in for about two weeks and seems to be starting to work. There's already less guarding and snipping between the two. The pheromones don't work for everyone so we're really glad they work for us, but there are a couple things that I really wish were different about the diffuser itself. One: It gets hot. Like, uncomfortably hot. I can feel the heat radiating from my hand when I reach for it. That's all it is so far--but it does make me a bit nervous. Two, and the most inconvenient feature: The light. There's a green light on the front of the diffuser that lets you know it's connected to power and working, and let me tell you--IT LETS YOU KNOW. IN CAPS. The green LED shines with the power of an alien sun.Why do I care? The instructions tell you to plug it in where the cats spend most of their time, and that is in our bedroom. At night when the lights go out, you could navigate a generous room with the light from the diffuser alone. And because it runs so hot and you don't want to block the diffusing pheromones, well, there's not a lot you can do about it. I've ordered some light blocking stickers for electronic LEDs to slap on it, because the thing is plugged in on my side of the room and it actually interferes with my sleep. I hope this is considered for future innovative changes, because curse you alien sun, I like my sleep.

Well what can I say. The product received was purchased through Amazon UK the diffuser is NOT a UK plug??? Having to use a travel plug adapter for it to be able to be used??? Not happy but need it as fostering a kitten along with my 4yo cat & don’t want them to be feeling anymore stress. Also when ordered it stated delivery 7th December on confirmation email, arrived today (8th). Not a happy customer 🤬🤬🤬

Didn't see a lot of difference. Think the regular Feliway (and the cat shelter I work in agrees) would be good enough!
