This is the better gasket to buy for a 9" Ford. With the thin steel insert, it is much easier to remove than just a paper gasket. You never think you are going to remove it, but I did 3 last year. I wish they all had this gasket on them. I use a super thin skim of Permatex Ultra Black silicone on both sides too.
