I used this gasket between the muffler and center pipe in a 2001 Toyota Camry 2.2 liter. It created a perfect seal between the flanges. I trust the quality of Fel-pro gasket products.

I know...I know...it's just a gasket. Well, if you've ever had one fail or leak, you might have something different to say. I've had A LOT of gaskets from all the different vendors over the years - general purpose, 'premium performance,' ultra high performance...The Fel-Pro stuff going back quite a few decades has never failed to disappoint. One of my best accounts was for a severe duty application for valve cover gaskets on a dune buggy with an old Beetle engine - the Fel-Pro gaskets were the only ones that were leak-proof. Bear in mind that was an old design with bailing wires holding the covers on a horizontally opposed boxer 4 cylinder, water cooled no less...Anyway - preventing exhaust leaks is as critical as it is with fluids, possibly even moreso as carbon monoxide can kill you. In my application, this gasket is sandwiched in just a 2 bolt flange connection, so it has to be able to properly 'spread' laterally, and it does so perfectly. As long as the diameter is right for your application and you torque your nuts and bolts properly, all should be good. And by properly, all I mean is distributing the load between bolt flanges - none of this crazy stuff with torque wrenches or whatever - the gasket design is so good that it's (IMO) just not necessary.
