So far am happy with these.. Had issues with valves not closing completely due to head shaved too much. This acts like a shim but not thick enough for i needed. I also had to shim the rockers. Go with cometic to get a set custom made if heads need shaved more than .001"

I'm hoping this version will stand up for the rest of the life left in this old 3400 equinox. I got it from my brother in law after he had the top end rebuilt over 50k ago, and the old fel-pro version they used failed. It's very common on these, so hopefully the SD does the trick, assuming that the old permatorque gaskets weren't the SD

These are the only gaskets I use on the 3.4.

could not find these severe duty gaskets anywhere but here. had the factory paper gaskets blow and had overheating problems because of it. HAD to have these gaskets as they have a steal core to them and not just a paper gasket. I use this car as my daily driver so it needs to run and be reliable. This does the trick! when looking for head gaskets, go with Fel-Pro.
