This seems to be a common problem with these aluminum covers 1) the emissions connector on the left rear requires material removal to push the quick coupler on 2) the hole for the oil dipstick is too small in diameter and depth. I had the cover already installed and this was a chore to modify even though I work in a shop. Do yourself a favor and buy an OE cover.

I do not recommend this product. The installation was not easy, quality is horrible didn’t last two days and there was oil everywhere.

I love that I was able to come here and get the same exact part that I was being charged double or triple the amount from somewhere else. The installation was simple. I feel that this was money well spent. The replacement resolved the leak and the quality is great.

Los empaques quedaron perfectos en la tapa de válvulas, se ven de exelente calidad, solo un detalle con los empaques de los actuadores VTC , creo que sería mejor instalarlos al final, con la tapa ya puesta.

I had the same problem as some other reviews. Everything seemed to fit well and was fine for about 2-3 weeks until the seals around the VVT solenoids ruptured. Do yourself a favor and buy the OEM product.

Not only did this gasket kit not work but it cost me $250 more to buy proper gaskets and new valve cover from Ford!!! The vvt solenoid gaskets were improperly made and would not properly go over the solenoids. They leaked over a litre of oil!!! Removed valve cover and in doing so it cracked the valve cover around the solenoid gaskets leaving the solenoid gaskets having to be cut off with side cutters as they were stuck!!! Don’t waste you money and time purchasing this kit and if I could give negative stars I would!!! FYI I am a journeyman automotive technician and have replaced and rebuilt numerous engines so it’s not lack of experience!!!
