Gasket was well packaged flat on large piece of cardboard so easy to install with no kinks. Made sure to clean the groove for the gasket in the valve cover with alcohol and then pressed the gasket in place. It was a snug fit and stayed in place when inverted which made the reinstallation of the valve cover easier. Some reviews and videos from other products made note that the gasket would become displaced when the valve cover was inverted...not the case with this one. I could not use the spark plug tube seals or bolt seal washers as my model had them built into the cover. Higher price compared to other options but great quality and took care of my leak.

Fit nice on 13 2.4 accord earthdreams motor ,this actually replaced a cheap one installed a few months prior ,this gasket is packed nicely and high quality, don't go the cheap route

I consider myself a YouTube certified mechanic. lol. The felpro products never disappoint. This is the third valve cover gasket I did. Seals great and fits great. Felpro isn’t cheap because their quality never is compromised. Complete set of what you need for the gasket.

I replaced the factory leaking valve cover gasket with this Felpro gasket kit. figure on about 2 hours for this work with an assortment of tools needed. besides ratcheting deep 10mm socket wrench, a plastic clip remover is helpful. at first I tried to snug down the valve cover bolts and the leak subsided but still continued. I could not use the spark plug tube gaskets and bolt sealing washers that came with this Felpro kit as my CRV has non-replaceable pressed in tube gaskets in the valve cover. the hardest part of the job was the time I took to carefully pry off the small plastic clips without breaking them that hold the wire harness attached to valve cover esp the clip on the passenger side near the firewall. you may want to replace the spark plugs since the coil packs need to come off. I removed the wire harness on the alternator and AC compressor to give more room to pull off the valve cover. dont forget to disconnect the battery first. the original gasket felt like hard plastic due to the heat and age. I used permatex high temp sealant in (6) areas of the head where there is small gap at metal to metal attachment. so far the fitment is great and the oil leak appears completely stopped.

While this is a great company and I’ve used their products before, and I’m sure that the product is great also, you might do yourself a favor and check with your local Honda dealer. Mine gave me a price of about $20 for the valve cover gasket and the little trapezoidal one for the inside. I asked about the spark plug gaskets and he informed me that mine didn’t have a part for it. Turns out that on some of these, it’s a one piece plastic valve cover and they are not replaceable. So for $20 or so including tax, genuine Honda from the dealership, in stock. Don’t forget to have some Permatex on hand when you do the work, because there are a few points to apply it. Watch a video or two before starting and they’ll point out the spots to use it.

I paid $80 for this gasket then paid $90 to have it put on by a licensed mechanic. It leaked oil all over my motor. I turned around and spent $220 to the same mechanic to replace it a month later with a different brand that worked. Don’t waist your money like I did. I filed a complaint with Fel-pro twice with no response.
