The hands does not stay in place. Base is shaky even if you tight it to its limits.

I am very happy with this mannequin as it is poseable which holds position well, the fabric is padded and pinnable, height adjustable, can wear pants or skirts, has a real size head that's perfect for hats. This mannequin is easy to put together, nicely proportioned, looks and seems good quality being pretty sturdy, is covered with nice oatmeal beige color fabric. It weighs about 13 lbs. The measurements are about: head- 9"h x 21" circumference, perfect for hats; shoulders- 33.25" circumference; torso length from bottom of head to body base 26.5"h; waist- 24.25" circumference; hips- 31" circumference; height adjusted to 5'8", inseam is 30"; arm length from shoulder seam to top of hand is 20.5"; center adjustable tube- 28"L x 7/8"w; bottom tube with flange to prevent movement and ensure stability, that sits on top of base, attaches securely with large long screw through base-23.5"L x 7/8"w; base- 15.25"L x 11.5"w x 1/8"thick bottom plate. The arms, internal head and internal body seems to be made of thick plastic with about 1/4" layer of thin padding underneath the fabric areas suitable for light duty pinning. The product page states the arms are made of wood but, they are made of a light colored wood look plastic, are sturdy, poseable, hold the poses well and, look nice. All of the adjustment screws are metal and screw into metal nuts which can be tightened up well but, I wouldn't over tighten. The arms attached with a spring screw that is sturdy. The head screws on with a long screw but, care must be taken to keep it level to neck top prevent cross threading. The adjustable stand tubes look thin but, seem strong and secure. Over time, with use and movement, the body may creep down the tube and may have to be readjusted. This metal adjustable tube fits up into the body in one of two, about 3"L plastic tube holders, with a screw and metal nut to secure, that when using the one centered accommodates skirts, when using the one to the left accommodates pants.

She’s quite tiny, smaller than my other mannequins, which are about size 6. The main reason I got her was for the head, none of my others have one.She was relatively easy to put together, even though there were no instructions at all.The base is heavy and sturdy. The Allen wrench is inside the pole, in case you can’t find it.The head in a bag was a little odd lol.
