ダイレクトマウント用スクリューとしては細いので、下穴の深さはきちんと爪楊枝など測ります。もし目的の位置まで下げられない場合は、無理にねじ込もうとはせずに1.5mm程度のピンバイスで穴を深くしてください。無理に挿入すると簡単に折れてしまいます。

#3 round head Phillips wood screws are very hard to find except in bulk. These were perfect for my application. They are nickel plated. Oh, they are the perfect replacement screws for Fender Jazzmasters as advertised. I needed four for my project and the other 8 replaced the originals on my 1964 pre-CBS Jazzmaster.
