I used this product for the trap arm. I can remove the trap arm so as to snake the kitchen drain easier since the drainage piping is ABS. I am old and disabled but I can still use my brain to make necessary modifications to make life a little easier. Making the trap arm removable with a water tight no hub coupling is a simple solution for snaking the 2" drain line. I could care less if the coupling is rated for ABS or not, they never leak water. Being rated for cast iron is plenty for this job.
