I purchased this after seeing one in an office. Its well made and works great. It does have the sound of running water and does hum very quietly when running, but I did not really find it noticeable. Setup was simple and easy.It does need to have the water reservoir refilled almost daily due to evaporation, which is somewhat annoying. The product would be improved if it had a larger reservoir.

Cute fountain and it works fine, but the water is completely silent. No matter which of the settings I use, and how I arrange the rocks, it doesn’t make a sound. Since it’s so small, the visual element of the water isn’t hugely stimulating. The having a water trickling sound would make it way more pleasant.

Nice little fountain, personally don't need the rocks. I actually got it for my cat to drink water from but he just isn't interested. The hose is a little difficult attaching to pump yet I understand so it doesn't leak. When I first set it up I put the crystal ball in place and water wasn't coming forth. When I took the ball off and water started coming through reset the crystal ball and it spun beautifully. Love it! It is extremely quiet have had no splashing on the outside!

My job is stressful so I was hoping to bring nature into the office. The rocks the water feature comes with are lame, but otherwise, it's fabulous at the office and co-workers are always commenting what a good idea it is to have one. Highly recommend.

I purchased this adorable little fountain for my bedroom and I absolutely love it! I wanted to have a small water feature as my bedroom is very zen, and this fountain fit the bill. I researched several low cost options and based on reviews, I chose this little beauty. The value is absolutely unbeatable. I can hear the water as I drift off to sleep and there is no "pump noise" at all.The fountain was packaged well and everything was well protected. Assembly was super easy. Instructions are included and it takes just a few minutes to put together. One thing that confused me a bit at first was the LED light ring. If you slide it onto the tubing that goes up the center and push it toward the top as far as it will go, the ball will light up beautifully. It comes with a small packet of stones for the bottom, but my suggestion is go outside and find some nice small stones to add to the ones that are included. I added some to mine and moved them around a bit to make the best sound.This fountain came with an added bonus. My 2 cats absolutely love it! They drink the water right off the ball at the top. I have to fill it every other day, but I have some seriously hydrated kitties!Bottom line, this fountain is awesome! I enjoy falling asleep to sounds of trickling water and beautiful dancing lights across the ceiling. For the price and what I got, I'm definitely impressed.

So the water fountain is beautiful! However its not easy to put the light in. I had to use chopsticks to put in evenly. Once that was done it was ok. Another HOWEVER .... it does NOT make water sounds. I was disapointed but obviously not enough to return it. I run it all night, the pump is really quiet. So its a 4 star I guess ....

I love this thing. The sound level seems to be adjustable by the amount of water added. The more water, the quieter it is. I don’t use the ball on it because it’s kind of chaotic, and I wanted this to be soothing and calming. I keep a cup of water next to it when it runs at night (primarily when I’m using it) because if it runs low on water due to evaporation, it’ll make chugging sounds. But that’s the only complaint I have, and it’s not the fault of the product, just physics. Anyway, this thing is awesome.

The only research I did on waterfalls was on Amazon. I’ve never owned one and wasn’t sure what to look for. I was buying it for a dear friend for her office. When I opened the box I liked the rock formation, it’s sturdy with some weight and not cheap plastic. I set it up for her and took several minutes to start working, and when it did, it was beautiful. The crystal ball is amazing. Looks classy with or without room lights. The sounds is low, but office is noisy. It’s soothing to look at and gives off a calming effect. I absolutely loved it.

I spent over an hour trying different water levels and rearranging the stones to try and get the 'water sound'Could not get this product to do as it claims. Don't buy this.
