The fish eye doesn't move to direct the return flow of water other than one fixed position. I had to purchase a new fish eye that the direction could be changed. The description of the product should clearly state the fish eye can not be rotated. Otherwise it works as it should.

This replacement part looks like it is made well and came with everything to install in our pool. It includes the gasket, Teflon tape, and even a hose clamp.

worked out great for my above ground funsicle pool return that was leaking. I had to carefully open up the hole 1/4” more but this one is well made and I highly recommend it.

Added pressure to my pump and created a 1.5" pool fitting inside of my pool that I added a $20 fountain to and have a 1.5" screw in cap to seal if needed.Pool is a 10' ready set with inflatable ring.All cheap pools like mine require to trim 1/8" around the 1.25" fitting to hole. This would have been a nice durable part. It was nicely built and came with all the fittings. It was just not the right one for our pool.
