It seems well made and sturdy (granted my child is only 75 lbs). It stays in place on the floor. The sandpaper-feel top is good for not sliding off of it, but it will pick at your socks if you don't have shoes on.

I'm an adult figure skater who is struggling to get 3 rotations on the one foot spin. After spending 5-10 minutes daily on this spinner, I started seeing results! I even got 3-4 rotations a few times! Then came a a period of a few weeks when I stopped practicing on this spinner and I found my progress regressing. This spinner really does help-

This spinner is all metal and is heavy (which is a good thing)! Both sides have the anti slide coating and does not come off during use. Wide enough for an adult foot to spin on. This is a great spinner for my daughter to practice her balance for figure skating. highly recommended!

My daughter finds this made better with sturdier metal and it's rounded. It reminds her of a lazy Susan. Compared to her square-shaped spinner, this seems easier to turn. Although the other did fit her feet better. This is also not as portable as her square one since it's heavier. But she likes its overall quality than her square one.So recommended.

My daughter is at a level in ice skaating which requires her to learn spins, she asked me to buy her this as it was recommended by her coach, she loves it. You can see the difference in her posture while spinning in no time at all and they are also lasting much longer.
