The head pins are very soft and pliable; however, the head pin is small. I will use them when my karpal tunnel kicks up, because they are easy to maneuver.

These are beautiful pins, will make nice earrings. The heads are rather small as other reviewers have noted but a seed bead in the right color should take care of that. Received 19 instead of 20 ...

When I received this package I first thought the huge envelope it came in was empty - thank goodness I checked it carefully and found the little bag of head pins in the very bottom of the padded envelope before I threw it away!After testing the purity of the head pins, I can vouch for their claim to be .925 Sterling Silver, which makes them suitable to plate with gold, if desired, as well as making it an honest claim to be hypoallergenic, without nickel or lead alloys.The pins are exactly 2 inches, and, as the title of the product indicates, 24 gauge - which is rather thin for most, but in my case, a perfect gauge for beading and jewelry repair.

For Sterling Silver, this was a good price. The pins are straight which is rare and I was happy about that. The only draw back is they are extremely thin. Other that that, I have no other complaints.
