Hard to read. Even the standard was off by a thousandth. Feels like threads are messed up. Okay for the money if you dont work with tight tolerances... But really if you plan using in a professional setting then save ur money and get something good.

I realize this tool is not top of the line micrometer however, rust, pitted paint some kind of gummy stuff on it really is bad . Skip buying this one.
