This lube is not ideal for all situations. This is very effective in harsh conditions, but it does require a degreaser after use because it seems to pick up everything on the road or trail. I use this if it's going to rain or be muddy and I use the red version if conditions are dry and mostly clean. Goes on as a foam so it's very easy to tell where you have sprayed.

I usually use the Dry version of this during the summer months, but as soon as it starts to rain the dry version comes right off. This Wet lube will stay on so well that it can be hard to wash off. Great stuff if you live in a wet area like I do. Some scrubbing with Simple Green followed by a good rinse will usually take it off no problem.

Def does a great job of lubricating but then the chain and sprockets attract so much dirt it requires frequent cleaning.

Mit dem synthetische Öl “Cross Country” erzielt man eine sehr gute und länger anhaltende Schmierfähigkeit, die auch gegen Nässe Bestand hat. Die Kette fühlt sich im Vergleich zum Wachs Schmiermittel nach der ersten Behandlung klebrig an, wobei nach der ersten Ausfahrt die Kette naß und ölig aussieht. Cross Country Kettenöl gibt es in kleiner Menge zu 100 ml. und in die größere Spraydose. Bei der Anwendung schäumt das Öl aus der Spraydose ziemlich auf und verteilt sich dann in alle Glieder. Grundsätzlich wird empfohlen die Kette nach dem Auftragen des Schmierstoffes an der Oberfläche mit einem fusselfreien Baumwolltuch abzuwischen. Dies kann auch nach der ersten Ausfahrt der Fall sein um überflüssiges Öl abzuwischen. Die Kette soll am Ende nach der Behandlung sauber und keinefalls verschmiert aussehen.Laut Brugger-Test sind neben FINISH LINE das DYNAMIK Trockenschmiermittel, sowie Kettenschmierstoff, 2K-Schmierstoff oder auch ROHLOFF Oil of Rohloff im Ranking ganz vorne. Jedem aber seine eigene Meinung, die Erfahrung lässt sich nicht mit dem Löffel essen. Für den harten Einsatz bei Nässe und so weiter gibt es deshalb 5 Sterne. Für den optischen Reinheitsgrad der Kette gäbe es nur 3 Sterne, jedoch gibt es ja dazu andere Trockenschmiermittel.

The largest size is well worth it. You save by purchasing it. I have three bicycles and so I have used this for all of them. It really does work so well and it does not run off of the chain. Goes on every well and adheres nicely. I have used other brands before, but this is my favorite by far. You also have to use a minimal amount of this product for maximum effect. Your chain does not attract all sorts of dirt of debris either. Well designed product for sure.

Excellent product. I would recommend everyone use this product. I've used this product on 12 bicycles at the VA Center in Tomah, WI. All bicycle chains and derailers work great after using this product.
