I was concerned when this package arrived half hanging out of the box but somehow it was undamaged and easy to bend some metal 'antlers' straight (probably needs some better packaging since curved so much and the metal edge just tears through the cardboard seam). The directions are ok, and it is fairly easy to put together, but the last connection is always the hardest since you have to pull everything together when that is not their natural bend/position. Maybe the manufacturer needs to curve the pieces a little more to go together easier (or they could have all gotten a little straightened during their rough trip to me). The metal is an ok thickness and it's not really heavy weight or heavy duty put together. I would suggest alternating the scenes & planning ahead before putting them together per all 4 are not the same design (2 similar designs). Comes with a couple extra screws & nuts and 2 cheap little wrenches to help you put it together. It's kind of cool with the deer cutouts and technically works well with how large it is, so there's plenty of room for a fire in the middle. It's larger than I expected. Overall, it's ok, not the highest quality but works well so far.

I've been wanting a firepit for the longest time and finally said, 'let's do it.' This ring comes in four sections that are easy to bolt together. It's quite large, so there's plenty of room to manage a backyard fire. I dug down into the ground to protect the fire further during windy days and also to be able to fully burn the wood without creating a pile of ash in the ring. It looks great. Recommend.
