I was skeptical but i've been surprised at how well this small extinguisher works. Like others have mentioned, it's about the size of a big flashlight. The instructions are tiny, so make sure you have your reading glasses. Build quality is good and it's easy to use once you read the manual.

While I can't say that I've tested this item out, I'm very happy to have it. It feels very heavy and high quality in your hands and the design makes it easy to understand how to operate it. Hopefully I never have to use it, but I'm sure it would perform well if I did.

I love the small size of this fire extinguisher. I ordered it to keep in my car, but I'm thinking about getting another one for camping, for which it would be perfect. It seems to be easy to use, but of course, I don't know that yet. I hope it will be as simple as the directions and product description seem to indicate. However, there are a couple of weird or less-than-ideal things about it. First, there's a yellow button toward the bottom of the unit that says "Buttons" with a big arrow pointing toward the other end. Before reading the directions, I thought that meant that the panel opened up to expose the operative buttons. It does not! That's actually the 'START' button! It is what you press when you want to actually spray a fire! I think the label "Buttons" is a ridiculously poor indication of what that button does.My other complaint is that, while there are directions for use on the side of the canister, they are very tiny and would be difficult to read in an emergency. There are better instructions available, but they are on the side of the box the extinguisher comes in. So you either need to store the item in the box, which means you might not recognize it when you need it, or you need to be sure you can read the directions ahead of time. And obviously, it might be somebody with poorer eyesight needing to use this product. Basically, it would be easier and safer for everybody if the print were larger, and maybe accompanied by illustrations similar to those on the box.Considering these cons, I think this extinguisher is a bit overpriced, too, at forty bucks. Still, it is a handy item to have, and its compact size and easy to hold shape make it perfect for applications outside the home, like camping or for vehicle safety kits. I like it overall, but I would recommend watching for a better price if you're looking for one yourself. Four stars.

I needed a compact extinguisher and this fit the bill! Looks easy to use. I hope I don't need to.

The fire extinguisher feels like a large flashlight. It has an ergonomic shape, and I measured its length to be approximately 9 ½ inches. On the fire extinguisher, I can read important information about the types of fires it can be used for. It works for solid, flammable liquid, flammable gas, electrical, and kitchen grease fires. The instructions on how to use it are in small print: First, I have to pull out the yellow safety ring on one end, then direct the nozzle at the base of the flames—the nozzle is at the opposite end of where the yellow ring was pulled out. Then, I press the yellow button at the side near the opposite end of the nozzle. The nozzle is marked by arrows as well. The fire extinguisher also has performance and parameters printed on it. It mentions the executive standard XF86-2009, but I didn’t find out much except that it tells me it’s a standard for simplified fire extinguishers compared to industrial ones. According to what's printed on the fire extinguisher, I could operate the fire extinguisher between -30 and 70 degrees Celsius, or -22 and 158 degrees Fahrenheit (but I doubt I would still be able to operate the fire extinguisher at 158 degrees Fahrenheit).. It uses aerosol as a medium. The shelf life is 4 years since the manufacturing date. The extinguishing grade is 8B and 5F.To understand what those ratings mean, I looked them up online and found out the 8B rating on the fire extinguisher means it can fight fires involving flammable liquids and gases, covering an area of 8 square feet. The 5F rating means it can handle up to 5 liters of burning cooking oil or fat, so it’s suitable for typical kitchen fires, like those from a deep fat fryer. The last line under performance and parameters is the date of manufacturing, wrongly spelled “Eate” of manufacture. It says to see the certificate. I think the certificate is the sticker in Chinese. It has a date beginning with the year, month, and day: 2024-09-01. So, I guess the fire extinguisher should work until September 1, 2028. I also see the CE logo on the fire extinguisher, so it meets the requirements of the European Union.
