This shovel is a expected. It works fine. The only complaint is, it comes with a very thin piece of elastic too hang from. (The black string in photo) I added the blue string because it is longer and stronger.

If you don’t care to get burned this is a good choice. The handle is short and made of wood. The picture made it appear larger than it actually is. It’s perfect if there are no hot coals and just strictly ash but wouldn’t recommend for a hot stove.

The handle came loose from the shovel in a week or so. I put some bigger screws in and it is working well to pull the coals forward from back of stove as the metal part is at an angle. Not as good for cleaning out ash as it is a bit small and short
