Used product to try and split wood like shown in video. Product only went in half way then would smoke and get hot. Wood has dents in, But did not split. Not worth the money spent on it

So I saw several feeds on social media wherein this product showed going through both small and large wood. Thing doesn’t even go through 2” twigs!!!! Gets stuck not even 1/4” in! Waste of money!

We haven't used it a lot yet however when we tried to test it the wood wasn't completely dry so it got stuck.

I tried this on oak logs of 5" diameter at the edge as shown in the illustration. This might work on green wood, but in seasoned Oak and Hackberry, the bit just jammed, and that was using a 1/2" corded drill.Back to a hydraulic splitter and an splitting maul -

works well on small logs, but and piece more than 1" thick will not work as it gets stuck, and they failed to engineer a way to back out the bit. DO NOT BUY. The whole process is way more laborious and dangerous than just using a hatchet. ONLY WORKS ON TINY LOGS

This did not split any wood at all. I almost burnt out my hammer drill trying. Don't even think about using a cordless drill! Thoroughly disappointed! Trying to make things easier, I ended up with a new chore of getting the drill bit unstuck. Did I learn my lesson the first, second or even third time trying...nope! I kept trying different places throughout the 8" X 20" log, in hope that I was not following the directions properly...please do not waste the time trying this.

May be my drill is not powered enough, may be my arms grew from not right side, but I was not able to choped my logs. This drill stuck inside and that's it.
