The Cozii First Aid Splint is a well made splint in a compact and lightweight package. I've had other name brand splints and this one feels just as good. It offers a solid structure while remaining easy to shape and adjust, making it suitable for injuries such as fractures, sprains, and strains; a must have for hikers, campers, hunters, etc. It can be easily molded for various injuries yet sturdy enough to reduce movement and prevent further injury. You also have the option to cut it down to your preferred size. I prefer these "Z" folded splints over the more traditional rolled splints as it takes up less space in my bag. Overall i'm quite happy with this splint and have nothing negative to say about it.

This is a good splint to have in your first aid kit. I would consider this essential to keep with you, especially out hiking and camping. It's light weight so wont add much to your kit other than it's bulk. For the price you really can't go wrong with this splint. Its well made and will work perfectly if needed.

I have used SAM splints and carried one in my kit for years. This appears to be a great alternative to the original SAM splint. It appears to be constructed with lighter weight materials than the original but it still serves its purpose well and is more than adequate as a splint. However keep in mind that knowledge is more important than gear so make sure you are educated in the use of a splint like this before adding it to your kit. That being said, this is an excellent splint if you are looking for a budget split for one or more kits.

If you are active and especially in the woods a lot, this is must. While big, it is light so you are not adding lots of weight to a kit. Cuts and shapes nicely.

This is an excellent substitute for the "SAM" splint. It has the same quality of foam outer coating, and the same flexibility of the inner metal structure.I lost my previous one, and was happy to find this one. It's in my IFAK again and I couldn't be happier.Easy to use and easy to find in low light.Great for sprains or breaks in any limb. Very compact and easy to keep stored away without being obtrusive.Time will tell if this one holds up to multiple folds and use without delaminating.

I recently added the Cozii First Aid Splint to my emergency kit, and I’m very impressed with its quality and functionality. This splint is a lightweight yet sturdy option for immobilizing injuries, making it an essential addition for first aid preparedness at home, in the car, or for outdoor adventures. One of the standout features is its versatility—it’s long enough at 36 inches to stabilize a variety of injuries, from arms and legs to wrists and fingers. The inner material is flexible yet rigid enough to provide the necessary support, and it molds easily around the injured limb without losing its shape. Unlike bulkier splints, this one packs flat, which makes it easier to fit into a first aid kit without taking up too much space.I also appreciate the soft foam padding on both sides, which adds comfort while keeping the splint secure. However, keep in mind that it doesn’t come with straps or wraps, so you’ll need to have those on hand to secure it properly. The bright safety orange color and measurement markings are a useful touch, making it easier to work with in an emergency.

The splint is an underrated yet essential item that should be part of any first aid kit. Stabilization of a fracture, dislocation, or joint can be a critical maneuver that allows a person to move or be moved with reduced pain and reduced risk of worsening the injury. Once bleeding is controlled, it can also be used to cover a limb wound temporarily to prevent accidental contact with the wound or bandage.I like this splint because first it is flat and easier to pack into a bag. Generally they are either flat or rolled and though it depends on your particular first aid kit, the flat type takes up less room for me. It is padded on both sides with a soft foam that is over the malleable metal. It can be folded around a limb or shaped to maintain a certain angle. It can be cut to length as well for small parts like wrists, fingers, ankles, toes.

When I ordered the Cozii First Aid Splint I was expecting a functional but not great knockoff of a well-known American product, because that's what I got the last time when I selected a Chinese knockoff. I'm a first aid instructor. It's been awhile since I've handled the American product but based on my recollection, the Cozli split is pretty decent - wider and sturdier than the other knockoff. I've asked the manufacturer to tell me if the splint is radiolucent (i.e., will a hospital be able to take x-rays with the splint in place) and will update this review if they respond. As impressed as I am with this product, it's more important to know how to properly apply a splint and improvise one from materials at hand - you can learn those skills in a good first aid class. If you do a little digging, you can also find information put out by the American splint manufacturer that details shaping splints like these for various body parts. I recommend uploading that information to your phone.
