Continuous cord loop blinds operates using a cord attached to a pulley. Unlike standard lift cords, a continuous cord loop lift loops or returns back to the headrail, creating one endless cord. Pulling the cord one direction raises the shades and pulling it the opposite direction lowers the window shades. The shade will stop at the height and hold position when the operation of the cord is stopped. The continuous cord loop lift system makes raising larger window blinds easier and is ideal for making larger blinds easier to raise and lower. Although the continuous cord loop or rollease option is available on many different window blinds one of the most common application is roller blinds. Some other applications include cellular shades, roman shades, bamboo shades and more.

Used this to fix my old levolor cellular shades where the string has snapped previously. The string is a bit thinner and longer than the original levolor string however I think it actually makes moving the shade up and down smoother. So far (about 3 weeks) it has held up well and I have no complaints. I will update my review if it fails in the future.

Remember the length to order is loop length , not the length of the broken cord.I saw others comment about the rope is joint being weak. It seems to be only glued together, but it is still holding after 1 month. Just take it easy when pulling

The previous loop I bought is unraveling at the joint where the ends meet. It's early to tell how this one will last, but the joint looks shorter and tighter. It still makes a slight bump as it goes through the mechanism.BTW, the stated dimension is from the mechanism to the other end of the loop, not the length you would get by cutting the joint and laying the cord straight. My mistake, when I chose a size the first time.

The loop was the correct size, but was not woven, was just glued together.
