Smells just like sugar cookies! A little goes a long way!

The smell does not resemble sugar cookies, it smells a bit like expired lip gloss. The smell also fades away very quickly. I recommend trying other brands.

The Dog Cologne Spray with its sniff-worthy Cucumber Melon scent has added a delightful touch to my furry friend's grooming routine. The refreshing fragrance is pleasant without being overpowering, leaving my dog smelling clean and inviting. The spray format makes application a breeze, allowing for a quick spritz whenever my dog needs a little freshening up. I appreciate that the scent is specifically tailored for dogs, ensuring it's not too strong for their sensitive noses. This Dog Cologne Spray has become a go-to for keeping my pet smelling great between baths.

I got this for my long haired Chihuahua because he wasn't allowed to have a bath for awhile due to surgery. So in order to freshen my pup up while waiting for the scabs to fall off of the surgical site, I used this spray. Now, I would not say he exactly smelled like a sugar cookie afterwards, but he smelled pretty good - at least a bit fresher scented anyway. All you have to do is simply spray on the fur and then either brush, lightly towel, or fluff the fur. I used a light towel action to get the results I wanted. This would probably be good to use after a bit of time spent at the dog park to improve the freshness of your pet. I don't think I'd use this on a cat though. If I did I'd probably spray it on a cloth and then wipe the cat lightly with it. This product is made in the USA, which is always a plus for me.

I'm not sure if I received a mislabeled bottle, or what..... But this smells nothing close to what sugar cookies smell like! I was so looking forward to it having a spray that smells like one of those Christmas Cookie candles, or something similar to that. But this is a heavy scent when first sprayed on. It smells like a musk based perfume or cologne. Nothing sweet to the smell at all. At first it's overpowering, but after a bit of time it mellows out and is more bearable. But it still smells like musk, not sugar cookies. And I think it might be better for a male dog, not my little girl dog. Too heavy of a scent.I really wanted to love it, but it's actual scent is not one that appeals to me, and not at all one that in any way makes me think of sugar cookies.

My cat is very clean. I have never used any kind of spray like this on him and won't again. When applying it, I made sure I put my hand to block his face to ensure none got in his eyes, etc.More came out of the bottle than I thought it would. I think using more than one spray would definitely be too much.My cat did not like it at all. He had been purring before I used this. He stopped purring immediately after I sprayed this. I think he was confused and then looked at me with very sad eyes, which was unusual for him. He gave me a look like he was wondering why I would put something on him so that he smelled like candy. When I tried to distract him from the scent by feeding him his dinner early, he did not get happy/excited like he usually does. The scent of sugar cookies seems too artificial to put on a cat. I don't usually associate sugar cookies with animals. Maybe this product would be better if it had a more natural scent.Animals have an extremely strong sense of smell, much better than people. I am not sure how much an animal would like smelling like a cookie. Animals also use scent to identify each other too, so I wonder if spraying a sweet smell on them would interfere with that.Another consideration is that I wouldn't want my cat to spray the house because he wanted his scent around. After I saw my cat's reaction and the more I thought about it, the less I liked the idea of using this kind of product on a cat. I won't use it again.Cats also clean themselves by licking their fur, so I don't want him ingesting a pet cologne that had been sprayed on his fur.Overall, I don't think this product is necessary or useful for cats.

Cucumber melon makes me think of a body lotion I had in 7th grade, I wasn't sure what to expect from this spray. I was pleasantly surprised though, the scent is light and refreshing. The spray didn't bother either of my dogs, no skin irritation. After spraying I brushed it through, their fur smelled great and fresh. I set a timer and smelled them (ha) and hour later, I could still smell it but it was faint. After 2 hours the scent was gone. Overall, a nice refresh after some playtime, just not long lasting enough for me to want to purchase again.
