I purchased these boots to use for light to moderate backcountry cross-country skiing. They appear well-constructed, and are very comfortable to wear. They may run slightly large to size; I first ordered a pair in one EU size based on my prior experience, but had to return them as too large; one size down fits very well. As is my habit, I applied a natural wax-based waterproofing before using them the first time. In spring conditions--air temps in the mid to high 40's--they kept my feet very dry. The NNN BC interface with the ski bindings was appropriately snug, providing good control.
