So after using these for a couple of days, I've come to the conclusion that I do not like the black coating. The black coating does also coat the edges of the tweezers and it makes it really hard to grab some of the more tougher bones in certain fish where you normally have to grab them with a good amount of pressure to pull them out. The coating on the edge of the tweezers prevents you from getting a good grip. That being said, it's a shame because the tweezers themselves are actually fairly sturdy and hold up to pressure really well without bending.The pliers are also handy because I switched those after being unable to remove the pin bones and tile fish with the regular tweezers and the pliers worked just fine. The players are also useful because they are spring-loaded, which if you're using it for breaking down fish and pulling pin bones that makes it much easier.Back to the tweezers though. I did decide to use them to start peeling garlic and they work wonderfully on the garlic skins.

I like the variety included in this kit. The matte black finish is quite nice. Handy tools to have on hand
