I use these for one reason, protection.I catch fish with sharp teeth, gill plates and sharp fins. It has protection in all the right places.These gloves are easy to use with a spinning reel as well.

I was really expecting more for $25 gloves.These are just the same as the mechanic gloves you can buy just not as durable.
