Overall its good. It would be more convenient if there would be a drain hole to drain water

This is a nice tub. I was looking for something after my baby outgrew her infant bath (around 6 months). She will likely have this tub until 2 yrs old or whenever she outgrows it. She appreciates being able to sit up. I appreciate that I can easily lay her back for scrubbing and hair washing. The plug inside of the tub is a helpful feature that makes it easier to clean the tub (until my baby decided it was a toy feature and releases the water mid bath). The only drawback (and it’s minor) is that when the child is sitting down the water doesn’t easily drain from the seat. I have to raise my baby to release the seat water and then rinse her off again to make sure all dirty and soapy water is off her body. Other than that I highly recommend.

First, I don’t write a lot of reviews but I want to help out the next Mom who is trying to figure out with all these options, What to choose. This is Great bathtub. I use in a regular tub but could work in a shower as well; as long as you have an area to place it. Not sure it will fit in sink. I really wish I had known about this tub when my son was 2, 3,4, 5, 6 months old; when not able to hold himself up but he was able to keep his head up. The support is great. The way the tub allows for baby to be comfortable and safe, it’s perfect. It’s really a great design. I am not certain for maybe infants as young as 1 month but I really don’t see how it could negative, Mom may just have to be a more hands on which is the case for any newborn in a tub. Again, the tub is just like described and shown. If you have a little one and want a tub that will allow them to lay back and you can rinse and wash them down without having to deal with those mesh net things that are a nightmare! The net, swing attachment would just feel so unsafe and have to be holding him up even at 8 months. Son would be holding onto the side for dear life. It was never easy with that. Then bough this tub and it was like “Magic!” Suddenly my son could lay back and I could relax a bit while bathing him. I never knew there were other options from the net and once I did, I started doing a lot of research and was really unsure as to what to choose. And finances are limited so couldn’t just buy and try whichever. Also, this is during the pandemic so I knew whatever we used wasn’t going back. I took a lot of time comparing tubs. I cannot emphasize how much this tub far exceeded my expectations. It is simple but so efficient. It supports them and when they’re big enough to sit up, you can remove the insert. Initially didn’t think the insert would stay and then realized how to correctly put in place and it doesn’t move while baby is in bath. For newborns, as any bath, Mom is going to need to be more Hands on. Once they can hold their head up, this is the ULTIMATE way to go and I just want to past that along to any Mom (or Dad) trying to decide “which tub?” This is it! It is fine for when they are not able to hold head up but when they are able, it’s AMAZING because they can lay back and you can bath them and not be so stressed about them sliding. And of course you have to be 100% attention with any baby in a bath. This just really was a GAME CHANGER for us. My son is 10 months and it’s still plenty of space.

I was looking for a bathtub for my almost 1 year old who is a little chunky, she had zero space in her first tub due to its design. This tub has a removable seat option which is very comfortable! When baby girl sits in it she looks so relaxed. I know its comfortable for her because she's normally super active and doesn't like to sit for long but she's fine while in there. When she does decide she wants to move to the open part of the tub she still has space to splash and play with toys. Soon enough I'll remove the seat altogether and she'll have even more space to play. I'm so excited! I put her old tub (pink) next to this whale tub for comparison. The tub's drain has a sturdy piece over it that slides easily and allows A LOT of water to flow out quickly! Much better than previous tub.I have a few minor CONS: I've noticed that the plastic around where the seat snaps in, turned a little white. So it shows when it gets beat up a little. Also the foam on the headrest is VERY sensitive. When I was cutting the plastic things off (the hard ones that come on every toy nowadays lol) my scissors gently grazed the headrest and left a little dent. I had to pluck the piece of foam out so baby girl wouldn't notice it and try to eat it.. She of course noticed the hole and was picking at it but thats ok. Just be careful around the foam is all. I lost a storage area with this tub switch ( for soap bottles etc) but it doesn't bother me much. I guess the newfound space makes up for that! I also thought it would be even cuter if the tub came in other color options and could be stored on it's side or hang from a shower rod. Overall this tub is great and worth the price!!!

We had the old standard baby tub that was handed down to us from family. It worked okay until our baby got past the 9 pounds and he wanted to move around more. He was obviously very uncomfortable too. We got this Whale tub and he now LOVES bath time. He will kick and splash and have the best time ever. I really like it because it contours to his body much better than the straight back of the other tub we had and he looks much more comfortable. It fills up and drains quickly. In order to completely empty it though you do have to turn it over, but that's with all tubs. The tub is really well made too and I like that the tale seat can be removed for when baby is able to sit up in the tub and he will still have plenty of room to play.
