This is a nice value pack of simple floats. They go easily on your line by a spring slide closure and can be used for a variety of fishing from cast and wait to drift fishing in rivers. The bright yellow color is readily visible in all conditions.

You never know what you're going to get when you buy 'off brand' bobbers; cracked necks, poor finish, off balance or abrasive throats that cut your line...not so with these. They arrived with sufficient packing so that none were damaged on arrival. The finish is clean and even providing line protection and they float completely vertical. At $1.50/ea, these are a tremendous value. I will not hesitate to buy this brand again for this or different sized bobbers. I would recommend.

I plan to take a bunch of kids fishing soon, and I'm looking forward to setting the poles up with these. Because they are so elongated, they are easy for the kids to spot nibbles or strikes on. I also like that they attach by way of a grove and by pulling up a spring. These go on quickly and adjust easily. The colors are nice and bright, and that red tip ought to be especially easy to see. They feel like they'll hold up to serious use too.

These floats match up well with an 1/8oz weight, which means they'll fish well with 1/8oz jigs or baited rigs like a worm on a hook (size 6 or 4) or a small minnow with a hook. These floats would most likely be considered 6g floats, meant for a lighter setup, think crappy or perch setup. I like running no more than a 4ft leader below the float. The type of rod I used with it was a 7ft ultralight spinning rod. I don't need to cast too far with this setup. If I need more 6g floats later on I'll probably get more of these. I like the length and color and it does cast easy.

I got these bobbers because they are highly visible, but I couldn't use them with my usual crappie jigs, because the only thing that showed above the water was the red tip. Once I changed to no sinker and a tiny hook with a lure, they worked perfectly; to detect bites, I only have to watch for the bobber to stand up and tighten the line. They are visible at a good distance, so I can use them anywhere in a lake or pond. Great product!
