Pure crap of a product! Just crap. Doesn't tighten to rod. Doesn't clamp down to a standard spool of line. Seems to be designed by someone with a 3D printer not a fisherman. Zero stars!

My husband got this before going on a different type of fishing trip so he had to spool new reels. Said it worked well and others borrowed it from him. He said he won't be without it.

When you tighten the spool on the arms, the ends go into the spool holes at an angle. The arms can move side to side and the spool falls off.Used it twice, did not like it. Threw it out. I bought a different style where the spool is held on by rod threw the spool holes and screws in placeIt also has a built in counter so you know how much line is on your reel. Much easier to use.

Received the item 6 days earlier than the forecast date. Package was well protected and item received are in Good condition. Used it to spool up 2 of my spinning reels unfortunately the 1000M line spool although could fit into the clamp, the clamp arm will knock against the fishing rod and not rotate as it should. However it works well with the smaller line spool (less than 7cm width)

Don't work on narrow spools of line I bought it for my spinning reels but doesn't work as advertised for spinning reels using narrow line spools. Wast of money if that is what you are after.

This takes the place of having to have two people ~ one to hold the spool of line on a pencil ~ to load a reel. I have not heard any negatives about it from the gift recipient.

A real time saver! Easy to use and you don't need someone to help you when respooling line. Not to mention it keeps the line from twisting on spinning reels!

Works great I usually pay my local bait shop to re-spin my line I was skeptical at first but holds on the rod great no slipping and it filled the spool perfectly.
