I'm so impressed by these! They are perfect for kids and far more quality than I expected them to be! When they say professional nets, they mean it! They are made of aluminum so they are light weight but sturdy and I shouldn't have to worry about rust! They dry super quickly and telescope so you can adjust them to fit at various heights. They work great from my toddler to my teens who also love these. We took them to the beach and caught a lot of SMALL fish with them! We got the set of three nets. I'm glad we did as the black net has the finest mesh netting so it is perfect for small fish, minnow catching, etc. The other two have bigger holes so you have to catch a bit larger fish, crabs, etc. We found the tiny (we were catching what the waves were washing up and they were tiny, the sunfish and others were fine, just the little thin fish got stuck) fish get stuck in the base netting of the blue and red nets if we weren't careful and it's hard to get the fish out without harming them. The sides of all of these nets are finely meshed. However, the blue and black have slightly looser meshing on the base. We had so much fun catching various things in these nets and did catch crabs, hermit crabs, and a few accidental jellyfish. We catch and release but we had buckets full of fish we observed before setting them free. The set we got came with three nets as well as a storage bag to keep them in.I also grew up catching insects observing them and releasing them. For catching insects these nets do work too. For butterflies, bees, etc. I prefer a net that is much longer as to not harm them and to allow you a safety space to put them in a jar for observation. This however works great for grasshoppers, beetles, lightning bugs, etc.

These are very nice strong construction! I got these for summer butterfly, frog etc… catching by my 9yr daughter and her friends. Solid aluminum well constructed! much better and durable than cheap ones I would buy each year at something like the dollar store, buy these and they should last multiple years for sure. They came with a bag for the nets and also a mesh bag which could be hung or used for holding various creatures that are caught!

These nets will work just fine for exploring by a creek area. I hope they are durable enough for kids and toddlers. I will update if they break or we really like them.

When i ordered these, i thought, ok, these are going to be flimsy at best. What come were nets that are actually very well built. The handles are a good size and very strong. Is no problem with the handle bending when netting fish or materials from our ponds. I like that it comes with a netting case, much like a pump filter net, for storage and a fish holding net. Allows for small fish to be gently kept in water while cleaning the pond if needed. This is about 10" across by 14" high.I like the fine mesh used for the net. Makes it good to scoop out tiny seeds and materials from the hot tub after using it on a windy day. The flat bottom design on the net allows for very easy removal of anything netted. Just flip upside down, shake and anything in the net falls right out.Nice for the price.

What an upgrade for the grands, I got these to replace some dollar store nets that my grandchildren loved, but were so flimsy. These are sturdy, easily telescope and will be perfect for catching frogs and fish! It also comes with, a mesh "keeper" bag, I do not know what it's technically called and, what I assume is a storage mesh bag for the nets. There is no explanation or papers of any kind, but honestly, it is as simple as screwing the handles into the net.

These landing nets are the perfect size for catching crustaceans at the shoreline. With this, I don't have to worry about the old school scoop nets that get damaged on the edge because they're being dragged upon sand or coral. Having a metal edge protects the mesh very well. Other than that, these are made very well with a durable handle as well as frame. It's made out of aluminum and shouldn't rust like its galvanized counterparts. This one will last way longer than you'd expect. The anodizing on the frame and handle is pretty good and seems like it will last long. The handle has an adjustment grip that can extend the length by the twist of your wrist. It keeps its position perfectly too without any shifting once tightened down. The grip is good and mounted on very well. As for the mesh/net, it feels pretty durable to a certain degree. I wouldn't try to abuse it, but care should be taken whenever it's next to sharp rocks because it's easy to snag to. The net can be replaced by unscrewing the frame. Overall, this trio of nets are very much worth it. They're pretty solid out of the box once you've attached the handle to the frame. They're very durable and adjustable to your liking.

These nets are lightweight, but good quality, absolutely perfect for my grandkids. I really like the ability to extend the handle of the nets, and they feel sturdy and well constructed. With a set of three there is no fighting over them when we go fishing.

The retractable fishing nets are vibrantly colored and a lot of fun for the kids. They are great for attempting to catch bugs, tadpoles, or even minnows. The net itself is somewhat shallow compared to others we have used, but the net itself is sturdier and quick drying. I do wish the net header would stay screwed in tight, but it tends to unwind, making the net loose to eventually fall off its threads arn't tightened. I do like the aluminum handle as it makes it strong yet light.
