These pliers feel solid in your hand, and the rubber grip makes them easy to hold, even when wet. They come with a handy sheath and a coiled lanyard, so you won’t lose them overboard (if you actually use them - which many won't, of course).I appreciate the line cutter and hook remover, especially. The stainless steel build hopefully means no worrying about rust -- so far, so good. My only gripe is that there’s no built-in lock to keep them closed, but storing them in the sheath does the trick. Overall, a great tool for any angler.

This past summer we had gone on a few fishing outings with some friends. The family had a blast catching and releasing many types of fish. We quickly noticed that a set of pliers is a MUST on these trips. So when I saw the Yumeowl pliers on amazon, I ordered to check them out. The pliers arrived in 2 days thanks to amazon prime. When you open the package you will find the pliers in a nice nylon case for storage. The coiled lanyard will be great to have the pliers clipped to your belt so that they don’t fall and get lost. The pliers themselves are very nicely made and has a nice feel in the hand. There is well over 7-10 functions on the pliers all focused on fishing….from line cutting, hook adjustments to ring splitting. They have thought of everything! I cannot wait for the season to start and put these pliers to use. 5/5 stars for the pliers and would recommend to any fishing enthusiast.

I've been really impressed with these fishing pliers the build quality and features are excellent. They are a bit larger than I was expecting but still a good size for all sorts of fish. The rubber coating on the handles is key and gives solid grip while avoiding hurting your hands from usage. The ring splitter, line cutter, and cord are all nice features. My only complaint is the lack of a clip to keep the pliers locked closed, there's no way to keep it closed while out. However, when inserted into the black sheath/cover, it keeps it closed so it works fine for me. Overall highly recommend these pliers they can be used for fishing but also general handywork.

This is a multi-function fishing pliers. It is made of stainless so no worries about rust. It has rugged handle for comfort grip. The pliers head has multiple function and structures.The pliers has spring inside the pivot screw that to keep it open by default. When not in use need to lock the head with the soft rubber tube comes in the package. So, don’t through it away. In case it is lost, you need to find something else to do the same job. I wish the plier has a built in lock to keep it close when not in use.The fishing pliers comes with a nice holder that can be attached to belt, and a coiled lanyard to secure the plier and keep it nearby.Very nice tool for fishing lovers. Recommend.

I ordered these fishing pliers as my old pair were lost during the fishing season last year. I like that this pair has a lanyard with a carabiner (my old pair didn't) to attach the pliers directly to someplace convenient to me. Or I can attach the lanyard to the sheath and then to the pliers. The lanyard has a belt loop to keep it handy by my side. There are plenty of functions to use for the varying tasks one would encounter when fishing, from cutting lines, opening split rings and even holding hooks for dressing them up. Of course, removing hooks from a fish's mouth is included with those functions. These will perform that function well enough on small to medium-sized fish, but not on larger fish. You will need a longer pair of this type of pliers, especially if you catch fish that happen to have large teeth and don't want your fingers close to them. When I get in more fishing this spring, these pliers will get a longer workout. I'll see how well they hold up this coming season.

I bought these for my 12 year old son who would fish everyday if he could. These fishing pliers are heavy duty and rust proof. It does come with a very nice nylon case with a rope with a hook so you can attach it so you do not leave them behind. The pliers are about 7" long. It has a hook removal, cuts line and it can split rings. It does have crimping slots on it as well.
