These are great for freshwater fishing. These are easy to attach to fishing line just like the ones I'm used to from the bait shop. The coating on these is good quality because they haven't rusted after sitting in a wet tackle box for days until they air dry.

These are so simple to use it is a wonder we have not seen these sooner, like 100 years ago. Since the drag on most of my rods are set below #25 I’m not worried about these failing, and changes are so easy and quick. I can’t see myself ever buying the old style snap swivels again. Excellent product
