This is a handy pack of flat slip weights that are ideal for higher currents or surf fishing. They work like any other slip weight, just thread your line through the weight according to however you want to rig it. Good value for money.

A sinker is a sinker, right? I gave these sinkers a good inspection and what I noticed is the ends where there is a hole for the line to go through are not formed well. Some are smashed in a little at the hole which creates a sharp edge for your line. This is not good. Another sinker has a mild crack in it which is unusual. Considering the price of the sinkers is higher than most, I was expecting higher quality. That was not the case.

These weights are a great size and shape for fishing on a beach. You can set it up so the bait sits on the bottom and doesn’t move due to the waves. The weights are a great size and string up easily on any size line. A couple of rubber line stops keep the weight in place and it won’t ride up or move downward. I can’t wait to take this rig on all my fishing trips.

My friend (who I bought this for) loves that they lay flat. They don't roll in the current. I like that the line goes thru the weight.

These flat weights are pretty standard, so it’s hard to mess this up. I think the only thing to say here is whether or not the price is good… because the weight is just a weight. Well, the price is decent… so go for it!
