What impressed me the most about this system is the ease of installation. All the electronics are contained in the switchjack portion of the system, which made the jack easy to install, but also makes keeping it tightened much easier. Sound quality is comparable to the Fishman Ellipse blend it replaced, with the mic placement giving this an edge in my eyes (directly placed inside the guitar vs the gooseneck the older system had).

Great sound and customizability but changing the battery is inconvenient

I never write reviews but this pickup is great! I have it set for mostly mic, and a little bit of the under saddle and it sound so natural coming out to the audience and recording. I will be buying this pickup for any future guitar I might get. It was easy to install, but I already has a Fishman under saddle pickup, so I didn't have to drill any holes. I couldn't be happier with this Fishman Pickup Mic Blend. Highly recommend!

I installed this on my Taylor 6. I love the variability so much I'm going to put another on my 12 string! The ability to adjust the tonal output adds so much tweak ability. If you're nervous about drilling etc on your guitar have it installed. I installed mine in about an hour with no problems. For background, I have been playing about 42 years, all genres

I have tried lots of pickups. You want a list? The ones I can remember: sunrise, lrbaggs, K&K, Shadow, other fishman. Soundhole, magnetic, preamps non preamps, mic blends and piezos, mic modeling…I have been searching for the best acoustic sound for decades. I tour and travel and perform 150 shows a year mostly as a solo acoustic guy. When I got the Fishman infinity blend system installed - I freaked out. It kept the immediacy of the piezo but the blend of the mic was just enough to bring the air in and get rid of the quack. It is the most natural sounding pickup I have ever used and I’ve been performing live with an acoustic since 1993? Holy crap that’s a long time.I have it installed in two Gibson hummingbirds, J45 and a Martin J12 jumbo 12 string. The thing I love most about it is the natural dynamics you can get.Oh and if you’re doing live streams - it’s stereo. You can send piezo to one side and mic to another if you use a trs cable. This adds a fantastic stereo element to the live stream experience. I mean you can do the same live but that would just be annoying to any soundman but at home, works great.I will talk about this pickup for a long long time. This system sounds amazing! The only issue I have is the controls and mic need better sticky pads. Acoustic Music in Salt Lake did the install, but I had to bring it back in because Vol/Tone controller detached and was loose inside the guitar. They reinstall all components with much better pads. Totally wasn’t the shop’s fault. So, your take away from this review should be a positive one. Just don’t use the provided sticky pads. Get some better adhesive pads for the install.

I'm very upset because they charged me $ 18 more than what they told me

This is the best sounding microphone + piezo saddle pickup setup period. I installed this into a Martin 000-15M acoustic guitar.
