Your cart is empty.When planning your electric fence, there are several things you should consider. Among them, placement of the gate and the type of gate handle you choose. Your electric fence gate, if possible, should be placed at corners instead of in the middle of the fence. This durable Fi-Shock Plastic Gate Handle is molded of tough, high quality plastic. It is designed with shockproof thickness for safe handling protection. In addition, the orange color of the gate handle makes it more visible too. As a general rule of thumb for insulated plastic gate handles, your electric fence should have one plastic gate handle for every electrified wire.

These work well with 1" wide electric fence tape and are large enough to grab the handle safely in cold weather when you're wearing work gloves.

You get what you pay for, These things work great as long as it’s never stressed by deer crossing the gate, They come apart pretty fast under tension,

I did have one issue with this. The gate handles I have always had pulled out at the U that catches the wire. You cannot have the wire tight with this, as it does not pull out to catch. It seems like it would, but doesn't. Still works fine, and should hold up for a period of time. I only have a small wire, if you were holding a large animal in, you would probably need the tighter connection.

Tension spring broke, You get what you pay for.Spend the extra money up front for heavy duty gate handles.They'll last longer and survive daily use.

The hole electric fence thing seems to be working out fine including the handles for the gate. The deer have not gone over or throw the fence. The handles make it ease to go into my garden when I need to.
