I like these so much better than blocks. They are so easy to hold and stamp with. No slipping. Great item. I highly recommend for quality stamping.

Great for small hands as you can use two hands easily without death grip or slipping. One of my grandsons won’t use any of the many options offered him. He would rub acrylic stamp on ink then lay it on the paper and press with fingers. With cars he often inks the flat side to get a filled shape which he liked. I knew he wanted to stamp with his siblings and me so I went looking and I found these. He uses them and seems more satisfied as he is doing more stamping. The other 6 grandkid use them. I occasionally do. I love my Misty* but even I like these over blocks and sometimes use the smaller ones. I don’t drop these. Acrylic stamps usually need a second inking otherwise I would use these more.*(Some people are upset by the makers of Misty platforms but copyright infringement isn’t acceptable. Small companies rely on copyrights to stay in business. I love my Misty and it’s my preferred stamping method. I have not liked some copycats that I have tried.)

Update: 2 years later and these are STILL my go to stamp blocks!I am going to get tons of use out of these! What they are? Handy, user friendly stamping blocks that make stamping easy and fun without taking up major amounts of space. What they aren't? Difficult to use. Those with hand troubles, these are the blocks you want. I have corporal tunnel in both hands and these make stamping super easy. The grips mean I can hold the stamp with both hands and be more steady. The rubber feet let me position stamps right where I need them and then stamp. No. More. Guessing. The grids on these make placement even more simple. Oh and by the way, Fiskars did very well in making the plastic packaging work for you. If you pay attention when opening these and tear away the excess, you'll have a container to keep these in when they are in storage. That's awesome for those just starting out who don't have established storage for their stamp blocks, etc. Great tool!

This is my second stamp press. I purchased another large one to help with larger dies and creating scenes that stamp and color. Looks like this model is discontinued, so I am glad I was able to snag another one. So far on my older one, the foam feet haven't deteriorated. I figure when time eats away at them I will find something to replace it, but so far it has held up well. I've had my older one for a year.____updated 10/15/2018Wish fiskars had created a placement sheet to stamp on and perfectly place for re-stamping. This tool is so lightweight and effective, I prefer it to my Tim Holtz's stamping platform. This stamp press, you can easily load up many clear stamps to stamp at once. The only reason why I use my tim holtz is to re-stamp if I need more coverage. Otherwise this stamp press would be perfect

This is great for stamping. I didn't know what it was for...thought it was something to use just with other Fiskars products until I saw it mentioned online. It is basically an upgrade to acrylic stamping blocks...an acrylic block on sponge feet....AND you only need one instead of several sizes. The four sponge feet allow you to place the tool with the stamp on it over your work, move it around, and press down to stamp when you have it right where you want it. Much steadier than a hand held block. Since you place it manually, it does not restamp in the exact same place on its own like some others (that cost much more) but that is not a feature I need. I did purchase the larger Fiskars stamp press as well which allows you to design and place multiple stamps on the press where you want them and stamp all at once maintaining your design. This small one, however, is a workhorse for stamping. Wish I had discovered it sooner!

Hesitated ordering this as I thought it bit pricey but so glad I decided to get it. So simple to stamp exactly where wanted on the cardstock and despite the lightness of the product, no need to press hard to operate the press, Just need to be sure both hands are used to press and hold the four sponged corners down, I find thumb and last finger best whilst gentle pressure from rest of the fingers move over the stamp to ensure ink is transferred to the paper/card. Have got rid of all the acrylic blocks I had bar one for really small stamps, Well worth having. I have read one review stating there was not much clearance beneath the press to allow moving it into position but I disagree, there is plenty of room to exact the position wanted without risk of the inked up stamp touching cardstock before it is operated. Love it. Saved me lots of wasted materials and time.

I'm a terrible stamper in that whenever I try and stamp an image, I almost always "shimmy" the stamp just a tiny bit after I push it on paper. It drives me crazy, but I just can't seem to avoid doing it. This tool makes stamping effortless- once you have your stamp applied and lined up where you want to stamp it, you push from above and then apply even pressure across the whole stamp. When you are done, simply stop pressing and the stamp springs off the page, no "shimmy" as it pushes or pulls from the page. However, there is a tiny bit of a learning curve for the press because it's sometimes hard to get a full, even impression because the stamping press is designed to want to lift off and spring back from the paper, so you have to make sure you really press hard and evenly across the ENTIRE surface of the press, and not just the center, like you could with a regular acrylic block. Unless you do this, the entire surface of the stamped image doesn't always make contact with the paper. Use a lot of ink. It's also really great for stamping out words with multiple tiny letter stamps. The grid on the press makes it very easy to re-stamp- you simply line up the paper with the grid lines and then re-positioning to stamp over something two or three times becomes much easier.I think the MISTI tool is still probably the best stamping press/tool on the market, but for forty dollars less, I think the Fiskars press is a bargain, and worth a spot on your shelf.

Outside of Amazon getting the dimensions wrong in their description, it is n easy to use LARGE stamping block with firm sponges that elevate the stamp safely off the paper until you press down. Due to the firmness, just be careful that the stamp does not shift slightly when pressing downwards. Excellent grid lines to aligning letter stamps perfectly and wide enough to a larger than 5 x 7 full sized card with text in either direction.
