These not open smoothly, and are difficult to close. Drew blood first time I tried to close. Very stiff, blades do not fit easily into the plastic holder. Might have been a defective pair, returning.

Good little travel scissors: sharp, easy to hold, and with a clever way of folding up, but very stiff at first. I had trouble refolding them; hoping they loosen up or get better with a little WD-40 treatment. Tip: when refolding, put the scissor part (fully closed) on a hard surface then move the plastic handles inward one at a time.
