Took me 20 minutes to figure out technique. No problem next time. Contour on support stalk has interference with the mirror. Must latch top in place THEN PULL OUTWARD FROM TRUCK, and then snap bottom on. Fits securely. Good product.

These fit my 2008 tahoe amazing, towed a 26ft trailer behind me with no problems having these, lots of freeway miles and comfortable lane changes ans backed right into camp!I love that they look like they came factory to the vehicle vs the ones with the awkward straps. They were a little hard getting on, but they didn't budge during travel and left them on to travel around Yellowstone, due to sticking out, we used the stow capabilities on the mirrors and it stowed them away when parked and didn't hit or bend the attached mirrors

Just got these for my 2010 Sierra. They fit PERFECT ! Which is something we don't hear too much these days.Whoever built these add-on mirrors had the exact measurements of the mirrors they fit on. Took me 10 seconds to install both mirrors, and i have to admit they are sturdy as well. For the price, these are TOTALLY worth it. Not to mention they add about 8 inches to the overall width of your truck, which means other cars stay even further of me beloved GMC. Just sayin' :)

Fit my 2011 Sierra perfectly. Nice and firm, I did not find vibration to be a problem. My truck does not have factory mirror caps and I could see how this would cause a fitment issue if it did. Great price, and shipped fast.

I tried to cancel this item before I got it, thinking I would replace my original mirrors with towing mirrors but now I like them. The cancellation was too late so when I received them, I opened the box to check them out. They are being used on my 2009 GMC Sierra 4x4 Z71 pickup. They fit nice and snug and have no vibration. Putting them on is some-what easy but taking them off can be a chore. Just get behind the extension mirror and push on bottom with your hand as you hold onto the truck mirror's side edge with fingers and push on inside tab with other hand to release groove from edge. Just a little bit of slack from pushing helps the groove move enough to take off with tab. Seems to me that the inside tab holds tighter then the outside tab. If you try doing the other tab first, feels like it will break or crack the tab and/or groove, just my opinion though. It was a warm day when I did this if that matters at all? Inside tab first and then outside tab is my preference. Hope this helps out if your having difficulty.

It takes a little effort to put on. The mirror is kind of small so you can't see much. Also when you are driving the mirrors tend to vibrate making it difficult to see clearly. The fitment is very good though

Fit exactly as described. It does fit snug and will never fall off! Does what it says for a fraction of the cost of a set of factory style trailer towing mirrors ! Great value for the price and a good way to expand your view. It is stylish and looks factory installed from the front! Couldn`t be more pleased.

I've used these on a 2012 Tahoe to pull a large Jayco popup from Oklahoma to Michigan and back twice. They offer some assistance, though their usefulness is in direct proportion to their cost. Simply put, they'll give you the $50 view. If you want the $350 view, spend the money and have OEM-style towing mirrors installed on your truck. These clip-on mirrors will enlarge your sight window a bit and allow you to focus on an area you wouldn't normally be able to see with your OEM mirror (like monitoring your trailer tires or things tied to the top of the trailer), but they aren't going to give you the view that a pair of extendable tow mirrors (i.e., "trucker mirrors") would provide. The pros: (1) they didn't fall off the truck; (2) I was able to install and uninstall them with relative ease without encountering the difficulties others have reported; (3) they weren't an eyesore when mounted to the OEM mirrors, as the fit is custom, so they kind of look like they belong on the truck; (4) the mirror stays put once you've adjusted it, and doesn't change position in the housing when you shut the door or hit bumps; (5) the mirror panels appear to actually be mirror glass, and not the cheap shaving-style mirror glass you would see in a shower mirror; and (6) they come with a decent cloth bag for storing them when not mounted to the truck. The only cons for me are the size and stability of the mirror. The mirror itself is a little too small to function well as a tow mirror; it needs to be both a bit wider and taller. I found it to be more of an oversized blind spot mirror that provided some added benefit for towing. It's also a little too sensitive to the vehicle and wind vibrations, and this is reflected (no pun intended) in the quality of the image you see in the mirror. They'll do the job if you're looking for an inexpensive way to improve your view of what you're hauling. If you're looking for a serious towing mirror, spend the money and have the OEM mirrors installed, because you're not going to get that capability here (nor should you expect to at this price). For what these are, they do a pretty good job.

I bought a pair of the 80800 model mirrors for my 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD NBS. The "fit test" indicated that they would fit, but they did not. They were slightly too small, and I cracked one of them attempting to install. I returned them for replacement, but received another set of the exact same ones. I returned these for refund, and sent an e-mail to Fit System. They replied that the 80900 model would fit. The 2007 model Chevy trucks came in 2 different choice of body style, the older (or "classic") style, and a new body style.I received the 80900 mirrors and they fit perfectly, almost look like they are factory installed once in place. Snapping them in place is just a little bit tight at the bottom, but you want them to be snug. Some folks had reported breaking the bottom tabs, but with the right amount and angle of leverage at the bottom it should not be an issue, I have taken mine off and put them back on several times. I only plan to use them when towing, don't want to leave them on otherwise lest they should happen to walk off. They work great while towing/driving. Yes there is a slight noticeable vibration, but not bad enough that you can't see what is behind you. I do plan to add some heavier foam tape to the inside of the shell where it nests against the truck mirror, which may eliminate this altogether (it came with 2 strips of light foam tape). Regardless, I am totally satisfied with these.

I'd say for what you pay for, they are a very good option. These are not a factory telescoping mirror that you'd pay 6x the price for, but they get the job done. With an 8ft wide camper behind our Burban, these mirror extensions reach out just far enough to comfortably see behind you. I think they are a very good option for someone looking to travel shorter distances, and be able to remove them when not pulling. They attach VERY well to the stock mirror, and 'blend' in to look very nice. They do shake a little, so I'm going to try tightening the screw where the mirror pivots. However the mirror doesn't move around when driving, just a little bit of vibration is how I'd describe it.
