I thought I had lost my original while fixing my car while out of state. I got the new version with the holder and it’s is a nice improvement. While it does not have a few things like a chain breaker, it will do 99% of what you need a multi tool to do, and in a super convent package.

This is a terrific and versatile tool! I use a small Maxpedition case and coupled this with a mix of Torx and hex/Allen heads and now I can tighten just about anything up!I like this so much, then I sent one to a friend as a gift!

The whole thing is great quality and really handy except for the little orange rubber clips, they don't hold the spare bits in well at all.

For the price it should store all 1/4” bits more securely. It holds its own bits fine but they must be ever so slightly larger than 1/4” because other bits fit loosely and might fall out. if you want to fix it you can do what I did: use a small file (nail file works) and rough up the inside of the Orange bit storage sleeves. Then get a can of tool dip and a small paintbrush (cheap brush it a kids watercolor kit works fine). Then brush on some liquid rubber tool dip, let it dry, and presto. Bits secured. I used a strip of micropour tape to help bonding I have no idea if that actually helps but it does add more material to make it a tighter fit. Kind of a bummer to spend $10 or so it make it work like it should. I wish I would have gotten the pro driver. Even if it doesn’t hold bits well either, or seems like not much bigger in width for having more bit storage.

I am an avid EDC tools and gear collector, and I was very excited when I came across Fix It Sticks. The design concept, the materials, and the flexibility of applications on this Fix It Sticks Replaceable Edition model made me downright impatient as I eagerly tracked the Amazon package to my doorstep. Then - the let down. I was disappointed to find that 3 of the magnetic 1/4-inch bit holders were too small to be truly universal some brands of 1/4-inch tool bits (ie slotted, phillips, torx bits, etc) in my tool drawer. 1/4-inch bits from Ryobi, Wiha, Stanley, Sata, Lexivon, and some generic Walmart bits. Even the included bits from Fix It Sticks were a bit snug.I am not a tradesman or in construction, so I do not require tools with extremely precise tolerances. Although, I appreciate fine craftsmanship and tooling - and I'm willing to pay extra to have that. I bought the Fix It Sticks Replaceable Edition to keep with my EDC tool kit to have on-hand for a screwdriver or to use for firearm maintenance.PROS:- Great design concept for interchanging 1/4-inch bits and configuring the Sticks for more torque/reach- Quality tooling- Strong magnets- Well-designed carrying case for Sticks and extra 1/4-inch bitsCONS:- Tolerances for bit holder might be too tightI personally feel that these specific Sticks are defective, but I don't have more to test my assortment of bits on. My other 1/4-inch bit tools have a little play in them when bits are seated, and I'm guessing that is due to looser tolerances. I've never had a problem with any bits slipping or have premature wear due to movement. Would be great to have all tolerances like a 1911, but as most 1911 owners know, tight tolerances come with a price (tag) and have their own set of issues. These Fix It Sticks work just fine for my needs. Just needed to find bits that fit, and I have drawer full of extra ones.

I love the design of these. Original, clever and it works! Although I bought this to live in my saddlebag for on-trail maintenance, I now use it over my 'full-size' allen keys almost all the time. There's a few inconsequential bolts (like my brake lever reach adjustment) where the T shape simply won't fit, but for everything else they're great.

I really like these. They're fun to configure, flexible, and portable. Though if you work with electronics they're fully metal with very low resistance. Also quite heavy but definitely solid and durable.

Great tool to keep with me daily. It's nice to have all the different bits with me in a compact kit. We stumbled upon an old switch in the comm closet that had Allen head screws securing it. We didn't have Allen wrenches with us but I remembered the tool was in my carry all. I had the right size with me and didn't have to trek back to the shop to get an Allen wrench set. I like the way the two shafts lock together to produce a T-handle to give great torque.

I love the holder it’s so compact and holds tight. The magnets aren’t earth magnets but hold well enough that it stays together. I like the orange finish better but the matte finish on these look great too. Can’t wait to add this to my edc
