Borrowing styling and technical queues from Fi'zi:k's higher-end shoes, you can count on the Overcurve to get your feet through the longest training rides in comfort and looking forward to the next ride. Unique in the Overcurve's construction, especially given its price point, is its attention to detail regarding its fit. Fi'zi:k builds it using a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, contouring to the natural asymmetry of the ankle’s two bony protrusions, the lateral and medial malleoli. It results in a slightly offset opening that’s more comfortable and holds the foot more securely in place as the shoe is better able to conform to the foot’s natural anatomy. The upper consists of Microtex, a material that we're quite familiar with as Fi'zi:k uses it elsewhere for its saddle coverings and its bar tape. It makes sense here too, as it's extremely supple for a comfortable and consistent fit, yet strong and durable for several seasons of everyday riding. Quickly and securely enveloping that upper across your feet is a micro-adjustable BOA IP1 dial up top and hook-and-loop closure at the forefoot. Down below, its R5 nylon composite outsole offers just enough flex to eliminate numb feet and hot spots on long rides but does so without compromising pedaling efficiency. It comes ready for 3-bolt cleats which should accommodate most road pedal systems on the market.

Soy un ciclista para el cual este deporte es un complemento mas que mi ejercicio principal ya que soy nadador de aguas abiertas.Como tal, este es mi tercer par de zapatos de ruta que compro en mi vida. Los primeros fueron una Specialized que resultaron excelentes y de larga vida aunque su precio no es muy amigable; para los segundos vi aqui mismo en Amazon unos zapatos chinos que parecían una buena opcion (SCHIB Zapatillas de Ciclismo para Hombre) ya que parecían idénticos a los Fizil y Specializerd y a una tercera parte del precio de los Fizik. Este par chino resultó ser los zapatos mas caros que pude haber comprado ya que en menos de 5 puestas ya estaban dañados sin remedio por su material de pésima calidad amen de que su diseño es realmente malo e incomodo.Estos Fizik marcaron una gran diferencia ya que su ajuste y sensación es muy similar a los Specialized pero sin el precio incomodo, jajaja. Hast ahora, muy satisfecho con todo.

This is another great fizik shoe especially for new cyclists. Fits a little small, so I would recommend sizing up when buying. The boa strap is great to have when in this price range and extremely convenient. The only issue I have found is that the strap will eventually wear out in the front and fizik does not offer any replacements so you will have to purchase new shoes after some time.

I bought these shoes in September (two months ago) and the BOA dial is already broken. I have rode twice a week since then. Yesterday, I went to take the shoe off and could barely slip my foot out because the BOA dial stuck and will not retract. Now I can't get my foot back in the shoe and the dial is stuck rendering them useless. The shoes look great but unfortunately are junk.
