La bomba llegó en excelente estado. Lo único que no me gustó, fue que el aceite estaba todo regado. Manejaron la bomba acostada, por lo cual el aceite con que venia estaba todo regado en la bolsa. Pero funciona perfectamente.

VERY nice unit. For the few bucks, I went one size over for pulling AC vacuum. I figured with this type of unit, bigger would mean less struggling to get the job done without all the problems smaller units seemed to display. None of the complaints I hear about other units. Extremely quiet; no smoking; no oily spray or odor. After 40 minutes it was barely warm. I'm happy!

Still pulls a good vacuum after more than a year. Use a good vacuum oil (Robinair), and change regularly (every few uses if it is used on a AC system that has been exposed to air). This is a single stage pump - so it pulls down quick, but takes a long time to get down to 29psi (I am talking hours when the system was started with R-12a - maybe a side effect of the R12a - not sure). Very satisfied with the pump. Functional at a reasonable price.

Pump works great, it is a single stage with two connections....so don't expect a duel stage pump. Was able to find leak, replace hose, vacuum system and recharge for a fraction of the cost to get it done. I didn't have to reclaim and freon as the leak did that already.....please keep that in mind, that you cannot vacuum out a charged system....leave that to the pros.I have used this pump on 6 cars and loaned it to two friends to do their cars....still running like a pro. No bleed down from the pump when testing for leaks on an AC system.

Used the pump for the first time to pull vacuum on my auto a/c system (1.875lb system) shortly after I received it and it worked very well - as expected based upon other reviews. Filled it with the included oil, turned it on, and within seconds I was seeing 29" of vac on my Yellow Jacket manifold gauges. Ran the pump for at least 1-1.5 hours with no issues at all. There were no shipping or packaging issues except for a little bit of oil on the outside of the pump body near the oil fill, but I wiped it perfectly clean with brake cleaner so it wouldn't turn into a slow mess on the shelf where it resides when not in use.

I've used other vacuum pumps in the past (can't remember which brand) and they were loud and underpowered. I was expecting this one to be comparable, but unlike the others it is very quiet and has plenty of power to vac out a typical car/suv/van/truck ac system. I was able to pull nearly 30" of vacuum without any issues. It peaked at this level within a few minutes. After running this pump for 1.5 hours it was pretty warm to the touch, but not warm enough for me to be concerned.Oil level is easy to view thanks to the site glass. Oil is included, but do yourself a favor and purchase a quart of the FJC vacuum pump oil #2200 because you should change it after every use.Why did I choose this one over a Mastercool, Robinair or Yellow Jacket pump? Mostly the price and number of good/excellent reviews. I'm glad I did.

Had work to do on 3 different vehicles and needed this to get the work done. I have done my own A/C work on cars for 4 decades and there really is not much to them. On the old R12 systems you could get away without creating a vacuum in the system. These R134a systems are a lot more touchy and harder to get as cold as the R12 systems. In each case, attached this to my manifold and with in minutes it had the systems down to -30lbs. Charged systems and had no issues.Great piece of equipment.

I used this to evacuate an AC system i installed in my car that didn't come with factory air. i ran the pump for about 45 minutes and my manifold gage indicated a vacuum of 21" Hg which was not as low as i was hoping for. i did some research online and found a chart which indicated that at my elevation (5,000') the best vacuum i could possibly get was ~25" Hg. the vacuum in my AC system held steady for a few days so i decided it was leak-free and it was safe to charge it with R134a. prior to charging the system with refrigerant i ran this pump for about another 30 minutes and was glad to see the system vacuum drop to 23" - 24" Hg (the day i did this was quite a bit warmer than the day when i originally evacuated the system).i'm glad i bought this pump and a manifold and did it myself. i suspect an AC shop would have charged about half what i paid for this pump and an FJC 6766P manifold. so my net cost was pretty low and if i use it again i will break even and have the tools.one thing to watch closely is the pump oil level sight glass. mine had used quite a bit of oil in less than 90 minutes of operation. you don't want to let the level get too low!

If you need a small vacuum pump, this is for you. It works realatively quiet and used a small amount of oil. The only problem I have had with it is that the vacuum oil has a tendency to form on top of the oil reservoir. It eventually starts smoking. Not a bad problem but something that you should consider when purchasing this model. Otherwise it works wonderfully.

I ran this pump for two hours straight to vacuum my Ford Ranger A/C system. Did not skip a beat. Very good quality unit from what I can tell. I hope it gives me several years of use!Another reviewer mentioned the fact that the pump -leaked- oil during shipment and the oil was on the inside of the plastic bag, and on the motor itself. Mine arrived the same way. It appears whoever is testing these units is not draining the oil, or not draining all of the oil before shipment. This may be a quality control issue, it may not. What I did notice was the black screw-on caps that cover the suction inlet ( brass fittings ) were lose.Almost to the point where they may fall off. This is where the oil leaked from I believe, or the air exhaust port. I'm not sure which one. The bottle of oil included was sealed. The seller of this item may want to take a closer look at this pump MFG and address the issue with them directly as they may have an issue in their factory. I wiped off the pump and it works fine otherwise. I'm very happy with it. It's my first vac-pump.
