My AC started squeaking after start up and at low idle. After inspection, my pulley had just a little play in it. Pulled pulley from compressor and beat out old bearing. You do not need to remove freon. Used a socket that fit perfect on bearing and pressed it in. Works perfect. I did quote out repair, but every shop wanted to replace whole compressor, which was around $800.00. Repair took 30 minutes and the price of the bearing.

I replaced the bearing on my Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ mostly due to age. The installation was straight forward and did require some hammering to get the old part out but the fitment of the new part was spot on. This will fit any Denso 10pa ac compressor.
