Ball bearings encased in metal collar. Quantity =4. Sturdy construction, bearings move smoothly on all units. Make sure this is the size you need, these are pretty small.

When we were repairing our BMX bicycle, we discovered that the old ball bearings on the wheels needed to be replaced. I ordered the FKG bike ball bearing retainer which comes with a set of 4 retainers. The above pictures I took show that there are 9-1/4 size ball bearings in each of the 4 retainers. I left them in their packaging because they come greased, and I didn't want grease all over me while taking the pictures. We of course added more grease prior to their installation. There are different size bearings for different types of bike frames, but these steel ball bearings are the correct size for the model of frame that we have. Just make sure you know the size of the bearings you need before you buy. I gave them a 4-star review because more information about them would have been helpful for armatures like me.
